Tom Leykis is a radio show that comes on here were I live from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The show is aimed at men and educates them on woman or what Tom calls - Leykis 101. Leykis basically educates men on not getting into problems in life with woman such as getting married young, having babies, paying child support and so on. One of Tom's catch phrases is that he will never spend more than $40 on a date with a woman and advises others not to spend a lot of money on a date with a woman either. There is way to much to explain the Tom Leykis show to those who don't know it but I just wanted to give a quick run down on his show. Many woman hate Tom Leykus and his way of thinking, there have even been woman who have called and said that they hate him because he educates men about them (woman), which of course works against the woman.
Anyhow, back to the point of this posting. A woman called up the Tom Leykis show in November of 2006. The woman identified herself as Sue, she was from the state of Arizona. The woman started telling Tom Leykis that she had killed your ex-boyfriend after he refused to pay her child support. Actually, he was really a one night stand she said. Apparently she got pregnant and had their child. He refused to pay child support so she took the law into her own hands and went to family court and they started garnishing this guys work paychecks. The guy ended u quitting his job and Sue approached her babies father for under the table child support. When he refused she shot him and killed him with a 9MM. She also said that she shot him right in the heart and that she's a nurse so she knows right were to aim. When the police investigated she said that she told the police that he had killed himself and that they believed her. Tom told her that she has just confessed to murder on the radio and that she will be found and will go on trial. The woman (Sue) then hung up her phone.
Police have investigated and found this woman (Sue) to really be Megan Suzanne Vice. Recently police formally presented the Maricopa County Attorney's Office with the investigation of the March 24, 2001, death of Torsten Karl Rockwood of Ahwatukee Foothills. Police are seeking charges of first-degree murder and filing a false police report against Megan Suzanne Vice. Vice repeatedly told detectives that she did not kill Rockwood. She said she made the call from a park. She said she was channel surfing and found Leykis' show, and she decided to call while Leykis was talking about strange things people do. Megan also said that Rockwood had killed himself just like it was reported in 2001 and said that before the incident happened that he would always threaten to kill himself. Strangely enough though, Rockwood's parents can vouch in Megan's behalf on this one. Rockwood's mother, Mary Francis Searle Rockwood, and one of his sisters, Aunica Brimhall, also told police they had heard Rockwood threatening to kill himself. He told his mother, "I'll shoot myself in the head before I let a shrink give me drugs."
This girl was really stupid for calling this talk show and saying all that she said. It sure looks like she did it and that she is just a moron for calling but I have to wonder if anyone is really that stupid. I mean, I'm thinking that she could have been just some bored poor soul out at that park looking for some attention and had no idea that it would escalate to this. The mother of Rockwood also saying that her son always talked about killing himself also makes it weird. I don't know, send her to trail!

This woman is not the brightest bulb in the pack...but the radio host sounds like the kind of guy most women pity...at least I do...does he have issues with his own mother? Would he like it if his mother were treated to dinner at McDonalds on a first date? Sounds to me like this guy has bigger issues than telling men ALL there is to "know" about women.
Sassy, I don't agree with Tom Leykus 100% on his way of thinking but if you heard the show you would see that the guy makes some good points in a lot of things. I say this because after reading your comment, you seriously sound like many woman who call his show and try to beat him in a argument. The guy is very smart and he never hangs up on a caller to win his argument. The woman always ends up tongue tied or will hang up because she does not know what to say. He's heard the 'mother' comment many times before. He has a website too were you could hear his show I cant think of the site though. I guess it would pop up if you just goggled his name. But yeah, the girl was the biggest idiot in the world.
Jeez! This woman is not playing with a full deck. That was evident from the fact that she gave birth to a child from a one-night-stand. I mean, really, what kind of half-wit has a one-night-stand and doesn't make sure she's protected? Her lunacy on the radio show seems to follow a pattern. My god, did she really expect to run off at the mouth like that and not have the cops brought in to investigate? She's a total nut-job.
Since I've never heard the radio show I can't really say much about Leykus but what you've said here just makes common sense. I agree, don't break the bank on a date. You really can have a great date for less than $40. And there are plenty of dumb-ass men out there that need advice on not getting women pregnant.
As for the child support, etc., I'd have to hear what he says before I pass judgement but my opinion is, if you're gonna dance you're gonna have to pay the fiddler. Men who don't make sure that their partners are protected don't deserve a free pass just because they don't actually carry the baby. If you're not prepared to accept the consequences, keep it in your pants.
Pussywillow, about the child support. Leykus doesn't really tell guys to not pay child support. He actually will call them idiots for not wearing a helmet when they sleep with a woman. Personally, I would say that I agree with the guy about 80% of the time. I can understand him on alot of issues, he basically will teach idiots to protect themselves. He will get on the 25 year old guy who is married with three kids and stuff like that instead of being in college and getting laid. Once a guy called up wanting Tom Leykus approval to cheat on his wife thinking that Tom would say go for it. Tom then found out from the guy that the wife was a good woman who cooked for him, took care of their kids and treated him good and told the guy that he was the moron for wanting to cheat on her. Tom basically hates bitches. To him bitches are what most woman are. The ones who don't cook, don't clean and don't give their men any respect and then are trying to clean the guy dry with child support so they can use some of that money to do their nails and go out with the girls (or guys). You see my point here.
Yes, I do see your point. And I know quite a few of those bitches. But I know alot more of the other kind. Leykus sounds like he really does preach common sense and good judgement for the most part. No comment on the cooking and the cleaning. Well, just one, cooking and cleaning is not the sole domain of women, especially women who have another job and contribute to the household income.

I really believe this woman had a guilty conscience which caused her to call in. It seems also like a crime of passion. She didn't get what she wanted from him and snapped.
Yes, could have possibly been a guilty conscious. I think she just hated Tom Leykus and figured that she could get one over on him, pretty much show him that the woman does win sometimes.
